Amelia Gray Skincare and Cosmetics is excited to announce an addition to our team of talented hair stylists. Emily Cox recently joined Team AG and brings with her a decade of experience working behind the chair. Emily is originally from Kentucky and graduated from the Paul Mitchell school in Lexington in 2011. Since then she has made sure to keep her skills sharp (pun intended!) by attending a variety of continuing education classes.
Emily recently moved to the Portsmouth area from Virginia Beach, and before that, she was living and working in the Cincinnati area.
Her passion for cosmetology began at a very young age and has continued to grow. She loves building relationships with her clients so that she can not only help them look and feel their best, but also be sure they feel informed about how to best take care of and style their hair at home after they leave her chair.
Tarrah Bouts, owner of Amelia Gray, had this to say about the addition of Emily to the team, “I am so thankful to have Emily on Team AG! Our team prides itself on the importance of education for the health of our hair and skin, as well as keeping up with trends. When Emily told me about the many, many classes she has taken to further her career, I was elated. And then, when I learned of her intensive cutting skills, there was no doubt I wanted her to be part of our company!”
