On Location: Team AG Takes Wedding Day!

Meet Melissa.

Melissa (and her mom!) have both been long time clients here at Amelia Gray. I’ve been treating Melissa for facials for many many years, and to know Melissa is to love her. 

When she requested a bridal consultation for her 2022 summer wedding, we couldn’t say yes fast enough! What a true honor it was to be considered for the most important day of her life thus far. We were ecstatic and looked forward to the day all year. 

Saturday, June 18 came and #TeamAG packed up their makeup, tools, and everything in between, and headed to the Selby 100 Mile House to begin the process. We sent two hair stylists and two makeup artists to accommodate the 8 people in her party: the beautiful bride of course, her mother, and 6 bridesmaids. 

Melissa and each of her bridesmaids opted for a lovely updo with beautiful floral hair pins to match. Her makeup application stayed pretty natural, highlighting the natural beauty she embodies, and making certain features like her eyes really pop with false lashes.

The morning came and went and our work was done! The venue was stunning, with perfect weather, and Melissa was able to have the day she had always dreamt about.

After the wedding, Melissa came back to the salon for a post-wedding chop. Definition: Waiting until after your wedding day to get the haircut you’ve been wanting, but didn’t want to get before the big day. We love that idea!

Any time we get the opportunity to provide a service for a wedding is a privilege, and the feeling is multiplied when it’s for a long-time client like Melissa.
